Bidra med feedbackI arrived at the restaurant around noon on April 30th. There were many other customers, but I was able to find one available seat at the counter and decided to sit there. I ordered the meat tanmen for 800 yen. There is no parking available at the restaurant, so I parked at the parking lot near Shiogata Beach and took a short walk. The restaurant is run by an elderly couple who prepare each dish carefully. It takes some time for the food to arrive, so please be patient. I passed the time by reading a book or playing with my phone, eagerly awaiting my meal.
This restaurant is run by a mother and father in a traditional manner and is loved by regular customers. While the meat tanmen is famous, I tried the yakisoba. The taste is average, but the portion size is incredibly large. I think it could easily serve three people.
Living inland, it is truly moving to see the open sea. So I went on a drive with a couple of friends to see the Sea of Japan after a long time. Along the way, we decided to have lunch at En Shokudo, a place we had been wanting to try. Since there was no parking lot, we parked at Akita Station and walked there. Before long, we spotted a yellow sign. The restaurant had a small storefront, with a simple and compact interior that felt nostalgic. The beef tongue ramen we ordered looked amazing and tasted delicious! There were two types of sautéed meat piled on top, with the soup overflowing. The irregular flat noodles were superb with the rich soup. It was my first time trying such wide noodles, but they had a satisfying chewiness and were truly delicious. The service was a bit slow due to the age of the couple running the place, but the wait was enjoyable too. Wishing them good health and hoping they continue to serve up delicious dishes. 肉タンメン!!美味しかったし、何より雰囲気が好きだなー。 次々とお客さんが来ていたので、タイミング次第では相当待つかもしれません。
