Jīn Duō Wū - 南丹市

The warabi mochi parfait, available during cafe time, is delicious! The warabi mochi is homemade and has a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture. When I visited, it was topped with seasonal fruits, including ripe figs. The cafe is open from June to the end of September, with operating hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

During the summer months (June to September), I have been visiting a limited-time shop that serves grilled rice cakes since last year. This year when I went, the owner of the shop remembered me! The grilled rice cakes are soft and very delicious! You can also add tasty soybean flour to your liking. I have only been a few times, but I always crave it when this season comes around. Actually, I still crave it even after the season ends. The fruits on top also vary depending on the month, so that's also something to look forward to (for example, in September, they put chestnuts on top).
