Bidra med feedbackCevapcici are fine, even today, but earlier it was easier and better near the letzigrund. something funny atmosphere in the inner, out of it’s stubborn. the price does not seem to be the same, and the beer does not. but it's okay anyway!
Found this place down the street from our hotel. Food in Zurich is so expensive that we decided to order a pie. Got a veggie pizza for only 15 CHF. It was definitely a surprise. Nice thin crust, lotsa peppers, onions, champignons ('shrooms) spinach and a tasty sauce. Owner was very friendly and gave me a cup of tea while I waited. Turkish tea, I believe. Went back the next night and got the pie and a large salad for 20 CHF. Great pizza and friendly staff. Highly recommend!
The restaurant is a minute away from Letzigrund stadium. Had a quick lunch here between roll calls for the concert pit. Requested a vegetarian pizza in a hurry and got a well prepared thin crust with lots of different veggies and tasty sauce in just 10 minutes. Generous size but a bit expensive at CHF22 for a pizza and coke.
Having been to the Balkans a few times, I have developed a love for grilled meat like a true carnivore! Cevapdzinica Letzi is a simple restaurant, with an outdoor seating which is perfect in the summer for sitting outside with a frosty beer and a plate of Cevapcicis with homeade Avjar with sweet onions, and wood stove fresh baked bread. Hospitality is friendly as one expects from the Balkans in general. I believe the owner is from Croatia? His proud heritage comes through the meal served with a lot of heart (.and paprika!)
If a Ćevapčići place is recommended by a croatian colleague you know it's got to be good ;) This place is not really fancy and rather resembles a kebap joint than a restaurant. But nonetheless they still have quite comfy seating areas indoors as well as outdoors. We had Ćevapčići for lunch served with Ajvar (type of relish, made principally from red bell peppers, with garlic,) salad, onions and flat bread. You get a nice portion for a reasonable price of 15.50 CHF. The service was good and friendly.Would definitely recommend this place if you like Ćevapčići and balkans cuisine. Can't speak for the other dishes since I haven't ate something else there (yet.)
