Brasserie-Pizzeria La Caravelle

That was probably the worst restaurant I've ever stopped in my life. The staff was very rude, we have a 2 year old girl and we asked if we could borrow a pen so that she could stay busy doing some color painting while we... were with dinner. We asked three times, and we were totally ignored, only the last time they told us they had no replacement and not in a nice way. Please note that there was a Monday night and was not busy at all, and there were 3 people who served a small number of tables. They brought the wrong wine and didn't even apologize for the mistake. When we ordered, they were annoyed because we didn't buy the complete children's menu they had in their list, but only a main one I know she likes. She's not in Pommes and Chicken, so we went for another main, but they weren't happy. Food was average, the cheese plate was disappointing. Overall, the worst of the service was, I could accept that the food was not the best, but not like the way we were treated. I worked for many years in the hospitality sector and do not think that this is an acceptable behavior if you are polite and the only thing you need in a very quiet night is a pen. Don't go there for some reason.

But the service was terrible, the waiter did not write the orders so he had to ask us again what we wanted, and I had to wait 35 minutes until my court is ready because the waiter has forgotten to tell the cook again. The location is good, but the outside of the brasserie is too loud. The most beautiful thing was the last ice, that was really good.

Very good value for Corsican specialties with friendly and smiling staff despite the late season and cherry on the cake. The aperitif was offered to us!
