パーラー ぱいぬ Dǎo - 竹富島

I was surprised by the large shaved ice, but it was surprisingly easy to eat. I was torn between various flavors, but the emerald pine and zenzai were delicious. Riding a rental bike around Taketomi Island in the hot weather and eating shaved ice was amazing.

I visited Taketomi Island for the first time in about 10 years. I love shaved ice so much that I visited the shop every day during my stay. According to Google, the shop was temporarily closed, so I was half expecting it to be closed, but luckily it was open. I found out that it had reopened after a hiatus of two and a half years. The zenzai black sugar shaved ice, with its fluffy and refreshing texture, was just as delicious as before, helping to relieve the heat. The zenzai was also homemade and just as delicious with its subtle sweetness. Previously, they used to have Jersey soft serve to top the shaved ice, but they no longer offer that option. However, even without the soft serve, the shaved ice was still delicious and satisfying on its own. And above all, the personality of the mother who runs the shop is amazing. She always greets me warmly and is a wonderful person. I'm glad to see her and I hope she stays healthy and happy forever.

After a hiatus of two and a half years, I went to this restaurant that recently reopened, and it felt even more delicious than usual due to the long absence. It seems that the secret to their fluffy shaved ice lies in the blade used to shave the ice, which is reportedly replaced multiple times a day. Therefore, right after opening, they definitely use a new blade, which may result in an even finer and fluffier texture.

和みの塔の真ん前に在った時から利用させて貰っています。 庭にトタン屋根？を設置したお店ですが、よい風が吹き抜けるのでとても居心地よいです。 時おりお店の前を水牛車が通るので雰囲気も良く、島でのんびり過ごしている幸せを感じられます。 私はマンゴー氷が好きです
