Z Hills Cafe - Zephyrhills West

Sunday morning I awoke and had a powerful thirst for delicious coffee and maybe a bite. I headed down to the local eatery and was astonished to find a packed house at 7am. I needed my coffee! This was my first visit to Zhills Cafe and I found myself glad that the local joint was full up. I ordered the half sausage biscuit and gravy. The gravy is a traditional white country gravy chock full of flavorful, meaty sausage-y goodness, and the biscuit fresh baked and fluffy held a sausage patty sandwich style. Delightfully surprising and deliciously filling. I enjoyed an iced Butterbeer Latte, and it was creamy and quenching. Zhills Cafe is tucked to the side of the FMC plaza on Gall. There is a cozy little room with squishy couches and books and board games in addition to the dining room and bar type seating. I can't wait to come back and enjoy a hot coffee on the patio under the trees. Thanks for a lovely breakfast!

The coffee is delicious as are their baked goods! But when it comes to their breakfast biscuit, I can’t defend them.Most of the time their scrambled eggs are hard. I don’t even know how you get it to that point. And their biscuits are soft to the point of breaking into pieces, kind of like those Jimmy Dean frozen breakfast sandwiches.From the few times, I have eaten their wraps, you end up paying like $10 for something that’s barely filled.

Tried to go get my daily dose of Star$ today and the line had to have 20 cars ahead of me so I left and found this sweet little family owned cafe with THE BEST CAFE LECHE EXPRESSO? mmmh the flavor is very bold and very tasty! I was welcomed by a sweet young lady who claimed she made the best coffee guess what SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! My daughter ordered the bacon, egg cheese biscuit it was also very delicious! If your looking for a quiet, cheap, family coffee shop with several bakery items, this is the place to go! I will be back! Half the cost of Starbucks a great atmosphere! Give it try find out yourself!Kid-friendliness: They have this cute little area set up for the kiddos to just relax or read a book. Love this place!Parking: Plenty of parking!
