Sapporo - Yukon

I just had a couple of beers. I swear I am not an alcoholic it...just two domestic beers in bottles. Seriously, I don't drink that much... The atmosphere was nice, but again I only had the two beers. It has been several years since I ate here, but I think the quality has gotten better (not worse) over time. I usually have the opposite problem with restaurants. Philadelphia Roll is fat and juicy. The seared tuna on the Kabuki Roll was not overcooked. Eel sashimi was very tasty and comparable to others I have eaten elsewhere. Crab Ragoon was just okay. The filling was a little watery for my tastes.

Sapporo yukon had been our go to sushi spot! However, this last order was subpar. Maybe they have a new chef, as the food tasted different then previous times. Specifically the fried rice which is usually delectable. This time it tasted as if a whole container of pepper was added. First time we were unable to finish the food. Also the fried calamari was so impressive before big serving size. Today's order I had what felt like the scraps at the bottom of calamari. Very disappointed.
