Round Table Pizza - Yuba City

I want to share my disappointing experience with this restaurant regarding their treatment of delivery drivers. It seems that they take a significant portion of the tips intended for drivers. The drivers reportedly receive only $1 of the tip, which raises questions about how a company can operate this way. On top of that, they already charge an additional 5% service fee on top of your bill, yet they still take tips from drivers. It’s appalling that customers are unaware that their delivery tips, which they assume go directly to the drivers, are actually being pocketed by a multi-billion dollar corporation. It’s shameful to deprive service workers—who utilize their personal vehicles and pay for their own gas—to deliver your food. Although the review mentions Stabler Lane, this practice seems to occur at both locations in Yuba City. We haven’t been able to obtain a receipt because they stopped providing them to drivers once they began withholding tips.

The pizza was good, but there were a few issues. First, they don't offer free ranch dressing, which is surprising considering they still provide complimentary cheese and peppers. Additionally, the iced tea machine was out of order during our visit. I also noticed a 5% fee added to every purchase, which was a bit off-putting. To top it all off, it was freezing cold inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.
