Get the nachos! Best nachos ever! I love the food, I just never know when they are open. They change their hours all the time.

Home cooked taste. Emily our server was polite and brought everything we asked for. Very pleasant stop on our road trip.

The food is good ,prices are reasonable, good service, good down home cooking

Decided to try this place today and once entering the establishment and using the bathroom I was pretty leary but we pressed forward and ordered. We both ordered the #2 2 enchiladas and 1 puffy taco with beans rice (minus the beans for me). Neither of us are real fond of enchilada sauce so we normally order a queso sauce instead of the enchilada sauce....this time we forgot. After realizing our error I had the waitress add a side of queso. Our meals arrived and we were both very surprised that everything was really good. Then enchilada sauce was very mild and quite tasty. Coupled with some of the queso it was even better!

While traveling after dark with two hungry young children (18 months and 4 years old with two more hours to go in the car we knew we had to find a place to stop. Our first attempt (using yelp only was a bust as the place in question was closed for business. This was further down the road than our initial decision and as it turns out they had JUST started with the new hours that allowed us to even have dinner there! I went in with hope that we would not be disappointed and I was pleasantly surprised! No one in the family had a bad experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was not extremely busy (not surprising as the new business hours were advertised as having been put into place *that day* but there were some getting take out and some coming in to eat the entire time we were there. My son (18 months old is particular about what he eats at this point and when we were discussing this the waitress was kind enough to point out we could order a half order of a larger portion dish and get pretty much exactly what we needed. He ended up with essentially bean, cheese and beef nachos which he devoured. He also loved the hot sauce and chips which surprised the waitress because the sauce was on the spicy side. My daughter didn't seem to want Mexican food at all but they had a chicken strip plate which she gladly ordered and ate all of the chicken from before touching her fries of which she devoured half of the steak fries as well. My wife got a quesadilla (steak meal and must have liked it as there wasn't anything left. I decided to get the Chalupa dinner even though several other things were calling to me from the menu. All of the chalupas (three different ones stayed crisp the entire time and tasted great. During this time the staff stayed on top of our needs from drinks to even bringing something out my wife could use to hang her purse and diaper bag from which came in useful. I would highly recommend stopping by this place for any of the meals they serve (breakfast is served all day, according to the staff and let everyone know your experience. If we swing thru again we will definitely consider stopping here for a guaranteed good experience.
