Atlantic House - York Beach

I booked my Fourth of July weekend stay here back in October. 2 weeks prior to my stay I receive an email saying my reservation was cancelled and the inn had been sold. I had to call and email several times to get my $700 deposit back. No one was bothered to apologize at all. I booked my stay for next year at the Union bluff. I’ll never look to stay here again. Beware

Under no circumstances should you do business with this place. We booked a stay scheduled for July back in December, and put half down at that time. I received a poorly written email on 4/29 stating that our reservation was being canceled due to the sale of the units. We called and emailed the management multiple times over the course of the next WEEK looking to speak with someone about what happened and what the status of a refund was. To date I have yet to speak with anyone, the manager Linda sent some texts stating that the email cancellation was accurate and that a refund was issued, but would not answer the phone or call back. Refund was never issued, I had to dispute the charge with the credit card company to get my money back. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

Beautiful place right in the heart of town, you can walk everywhere. The management Linda and her husband were the nicest people I have ever met that had worked in hospitality. They are just really nice people.

If you sing at the piano bar the piano player will tell you that you should “tone it down” and ask you to leave. This was our go to spot for many years in York until being treated poorly by the piano player. We we’re a group of 37 and 40 year olds and were completely shocked to be treated like children. Very sad after many years of fun at this establishment. We won’t be back until they get a new piano player.

Booked my stay here for late August and I just received an email from hotels.com last week saying my reservation was cancelled. I was literally supposed to visit in a month. I now have no where to stay and this place will not call me back with any explanation. I have called two times andl left a message and no one has called me back.
