Halibut House Fish & Chips - York

This is a good, clean restaurant with attentive service. The fish portion was satisfactory, but the presentation could be improved. I was not impressed with the tartar sauce, which came in plastic packets.

Amazing service I usually go once a week both waitress knows exactly what I want, are very welcoming.

I used to frequent this restaurant with my friend, however, the food quality has declined significantly. The fish is not cooked properly in oil and the fries are not crispy. To top it off, there is a rude elderly Chinese waitress who does not know how to treat customers. I would recommend avoiding this place until either the waitress improves her attitude or leaves.

This restaurant makes a decent fish chip during the day and breakfast in the morning. Usually I visit Sonn or Mondays for their Haddock chips for $9. You really can't beat the price and the portions are great. Admittedly, I didn't try her breakfast, but I'll do soon. The staff is fantastic very friendly and fast with the food orders. After I went to this place for several years, I never had a bad experience.

Terrible service, chips were terrible, cold and not even edible. Don’t even consider this restaurant.
