Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - York

I love coming here, the food is great and the people are very kind! Can't wait to come again!

I got the ribeye and my boyfriend got the sirloin. Although they boosted that the ribeye was their best tasting cut on the menu, I wish I could have gotten the sirloin, because it was much better. Ribeye was supposed to be medium rare and it was more like medium well. The sirloin was supposed to be medium, and it was actually a perfect medium rare. Otherwise I would have rated as a 4. Food prices are more than decent, but the drink prices have gone up unfortunately.

The service and seating were very good.tge potato and soup and croissants were excellent. The chicken tenders were moist, and the breading was excellent- these are maybe the best tenders I've had... We got a shareable platter. The spinach dip was spiced way differently from what we prefer, so we did not eat much of it. The chips were delicious and freshly made... The cheese dip was a thick, beer cheese type, different but good. It was a nice meal, atmosphere was subdued and very pleasant. Seating at the booth was comfortable. It was not expensive...

It was our first time at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was great, good drinks as well. Service was very good too. Ribs and spinach deep were fantastic! If you are staying in a nearby hotel (that was our case), do yourself a favour and have dinner here. You will enjoy it!
