Betty's Cafe Tea Rooms - York

This is such a beautiful place to visit for special occasion. We visited as a treat for birthday, the food was lovely, very tasty more the enough to fill you up. The pianist played Happy Birthday while everyone in the Belmont Room sang to me... it was lovely with an individual cake candle for me. The best part of Bettys is the service, its something special.. always worth a visit.

There is a reason why this is one of the best tearooms to visit in York. I must say it was worth the hype The staff were swift and the range of dishes available are something to note. From teas to desserts, they ensure to pamper your senses in the best way possible. The traditional afternoon tea was a winner, found the dessert to be quite sweet, however if you have a sweet tooth then go for it!

Delightful! I came for an afternoon tea while visiting family and the service, food and tea were all superb. Make a reservation online for the upstairs Belmont Room experience! There is piano music and you can order from the gift shop straight from your table. I usually go for an early grey but had the rose tea instead and it was perfection.
