Bidra med feedbackWe arrived at an early dinner in Sushi Noguchi and the restaurant was about a third full. Inside the restaurant is very clean and modern, white is the predominant color with bright wood accents. After reading about the offers we decided to
I don't know how to expect anything less than fantastic when I go to Sushi Noguchi. Of course, this leads me to blow off my mouth and pull other people (or when they say they love sushi, but not yet, I accompany their first visit here). We recommended our friend Craig to come here and enjoy even dinner. It is always a treat at Sushi Noguchi, not only because everyone is so friendly and gracious, but also because the fresh fish itself is a gift. We started moving. Duc and I ordered a few dishes, but overall we shared a grandmakase. One of the great things about Omakase is the constant feeling of wonder and curiosity to see what the cook will offer. Chef Hiro-san is such a special craftsman of his craft that we simply enjoyed preparing him dishes (we sat at the bar) rather than seeing whether it was our plate or not. The starter was Deep Fried Smelt served with a sweet, vinegar sauce, easy something that could turn
That was really an eye and mouth opening experience for me. For the first time in my life, I discovered how real sushi/sashimi taste. Thank you. Julie, to show me the way. Thank you. Chef Hiro-san and Jun-chan, for creating the exquisite sushi I've ever had and for your hospitality! I know I'm trying again! You should. But skip me
Some of the best sushi. Yum. Limited menu but delicious. No fountain drink makes it feel a little downscale for the area and price. They need an actual menu not a scan menu that barely works due to prior customers spilling tea?
Way over priced for what 's being served! That said, good quality sushi rolls. The Toro cut roll at $15.00 was very small. Seaweed paper on the outside was soggy. The diameter of the entire roll was comparable to a nickel. The California roll at $10.00 was a normal sized roll and one of the better ones I 've eaten. Ordered hot tea, which tasted like a low grade matcha, giving off hints of fish smells. After tipping $5.00 I was in for a $35.00 lunch and I left hungry. Yes, very limited menu, unfortunately, I 'm not wealthy enough to go back to try something else. Too bad. The fact that only two tables were seated at lunch time I guess has no bearing on making adjustments to appeal to a larger customer base for the owner. Perhaps this is just a hobby for him and he 's not interested in having more patrons eat at his establishment. Too bad.
