El Torito Mexican Grill - Yorba Linda

We hosted an out of towners dinner and had a wonderful experience. The food was wonderful and the service also wonderful. They catered to our every need and the manager was so nice to work with. It made for a wonderful start for our sons wedding weekend.

Today I was at the Anaheim Hills location. I wanted to share my experience dining in and taking out food to go. A young lady by the name of Rosa was exceptional. She went out of her way to help me carry my take out to my car. I can't ever recall thishappening to me. Rosa, that's what I call going beyond the call of duty. Sweet! Thank you Bob

Typically my experience is acceptable. I stay at the hotel next door frequently, so it is convenient. Which matters after travel and a long day at work. Tonight i was brought a luke warm beer. When the waiter brought my food, he asked if i would likeutensils for my enchiladas and rice. I said yes and waited 10 minutes before he checked back. Obviously not going to eat coldfood. They took the food off my check, but that was it, not really much care. I spoke with the manager and got some lipservice. I can understand new employees and training. However, I think the restaurant is used to people coming out ofconvenience and really don’t care. There is definitely much better Mexican food in the region.

So my grandson and I walked in at lunchtime, we were seated by the new manager, Nancy, she was incredibly friendly and you could tell she is very customer service oriented. We were waited on by Jaime V. He brought us chips and two salsas, like we asked. Hewas very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. This is a change, because usually when I come in here I get reallybad service. And I’m a good tipper! I would travel to the Tustin El Torito, but this one is closer to my home. And mygrandson loves going out for Mexican food. He always only gets rice and beans. It’s all he will eat. My only complaint is, Iordered a side of refried beans and a side of rice and they come in these really small cups. That’s not the case at other ElTorito’s. I wish they were more consistent. The salsa was fabulous! I’ve never had it so good at this location!

I've been to El Torito since I was in high school. You have good salsa. The table side Guac is good. Fish are good. Drinks are always good. Eating is good. I like it outside the terrace (overviews the 91 fwy). You have Sunday brunch.
