The Mettle Grill - Yankee Hill

This place needs some help. It was understaffed when we visited for lunch on a Friday. The food was so so. I had a hamburger with fries. They were just like any other. Nothing special, but the wait was way longer.

The fish and chips are so good! Nothing will ever Lou and MaryAnn's but I always need an extra piece. So glad I stumbled upon this place.

I've eaten here twice, and will continue as a regular diner every time I am back in Lincoln visiting family. Great menu, service, and wonderful food.

Our server was very polite, accommodating, and gave our group excellent service—5 stars for him. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best; overcooked, heavily over-salted, and very over-priced. They played bad 80’s music, the walls were void of personality, and the place was nearly empty.Kudos to the staff, but they need some serious improvements to make the prices worthwhile.

Love love love this place!! I am yet to have something on the menu I didn’t absolutely love! Amazing friendly staff and the food is always delicious!! The Chef/Owner even came out to greet everyone and ask how everything was!! He was so friendly and genuine!! My new favorite go to!!Kid-friendliness: They are very accommodating to kids! We took our Granddaughter and she absolutely loved the chicken strips kids meal!
