Dish - Yankee Hill

We celebrated my husband's birthday. All the food and drinks were delicious and absolutely beautifully plated as usual. It's our favorite place to eat in Lincoln. The rotating menu is always full of fun new creations.

The food at DISH was excellent. The GF options were also acceptable. We had theatre tickets (which teh host and our server knew) and although the food service was a bit slow, we did make it for the opening curtain. Highly recommend; we will go back!

We were thrilled to dine at this restaurant, having been nominated for the James Beard award several times. However, the menu was very limited. For our group of five, we decided to order everything on the menu and share it family-style, so everyone could sample each dish. Unfortunately, the flavors were underwhelming, and the proteins were underseasoned. The craft cocktails were no better than those at a three-star hotel bar. Overall, it was a very ordinary meal, except for the bat that flew around the restaurant! Fortunately, a server had a fishing net on hand, caught the bat, and released it outside.

Creative and interesting entrees. The oyster mushrooms were particularly good but all items had a medley of delicious and unusual sides carefully prepared and presented. Server was well informed about each item and all of it's components.

Food was great. Highly recommend getting the small plate dishes.
