While I cannot read Chinese characters, we were accompanied by a guide and translator during our stay in yangzhoushan. we ordered the sweet and acidic pork, sauteed chinese spinat and stir fried mixed vegetables with lotus root, holzohr mushrooms and celery. we also ordered two bowls with damped white rice. in our experience is brown rice not easy to find in china. eating was very good and beautifully presented. the average price of a plate is only 29 rmb. unless they can read Chinese characters or bring someone who can, they have difficulty finding someone in the restaurant who can help translate the menu. the restaurant and gift shop is located on the 9-storey qiling pagoda and is easy to see from a fair distance from the tempel complex.
