Zur Borse - Xanten

Perfect German pub tea serves in large quantities. We had both soup to start our meal with dark Erdinger draft beer. The soups were very delicious and well seasoned. We followed this with mushroom carving and Budapest carvings both had a variety of vegetables with a huge pile of frits. Too full for the desert, just what the doctor ordered.

If you have one of the best spits in a very touristic town like Xanten, Sun on your terrace and lots and lots of toutists you should be packed with a place like this .... Guess what .... It's not. The interior is tasteless, there is no music in the bar, to much light, avarage food but good portions. No athmosphere .... The only reason why this place is busy is because of the tourists who don't know. If somebody wants to get rich open a restsurant bar in Xanten for people between 30-50 and you eill be packed. Just have a good kitchen, loungemusic and a 2015 interior

Wir waren heute mit 3 Personen hier essen. Meine Begleitung hatten Holzfällerschnitzel bestellt. Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Champignons und gedünsteten Zwiebeln. Beiden hat es nicht geschmeckt und auf beiden Tellern waren keine Zwiebeln zu finden. Ich hatte einen Cheesburger mit Pommes bestellt. Die Pommes waren erstens sehr wenig und die Fleischscheibe viel zu lange gebraten - die war staubtrocken und knüppelhart. Katastrophe. Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich und genervt. Ich werde dieses Lokal nie wieder betreten. Schade das man hier keine Minuspunkte vergeben kann.

Quaint little town, street is adorable- food was fantastic & service outstanding for a German restaurant!! Loved it & highly recommend, right by the dom, very picturesque!

Semplice, informale nel centro di Xanten, vi abbiamo pranzato in occasione di una gita nella ridente cittadina. Abbiamo preso dei piatti tipici a base di carne: molto buoni.Ambiente semplice, tranquillo, prezzi nella media.
