Sumthin Dumplin Lorne

First time visiting. I have walked past this place so many times and have always seen long queues. Walked past it again today and there was no queue so I thought I will give it a go. Their service was warm and lovely. Felt very welcomed. But the dumplings dont really match my understanding of dumplings ... I do agree with some of the other posts that the dumplings lacks flavour. And I personally find them to be too doughy for dumplings ... they feel like pan fried pork buns to me... sadly wont be returning for when I want my dumpling fix... but might consider returning if I ever feel like having pan fried pork buns again.

I recently ordered the OG and the MONK and can I just say.. ELEVEN OUT OF FRICKEN TEN. Delicious, delicious, delicious. WOW. I ate two portions in five minutes. Will be back again. A small dumpling joint in the University area. Dumplings were cooked fresh with crispy base. 6 pcs OG was enough for a quick snack I just find them oily. But the that’s not a concern for students for sure. It’s only takeaway no seats except for a small bench outside. Service: Take out Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
