Osteria Del Pane

We started with some complimentary homemade bread and then shared the prawn ravioli and gnocchi, both of which were out of this world—certainly the best pasta and gnocchi we've ever tasted! For dessert, we indulged in both the tiramisu and panna cotta, and they were exceptional! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and we definitely plan to return and bring friends along. Don’t let the plain decor deter you; the fantastic food and service, along with the reasonable prices, more than compensate for it. If you prioritize flavor over the latest trendy dining spots in Auckland, you’ll be thrilled you chose Pane!

The pizza was excellent, and the prices were surprisingly low compared to other similar places, especially considering the quality and location. I also tried a pasta dish and the meatballs, both of which were decent—definitely nothing to complain about. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, displaying a high level of professionalism. The only downside was the lack of atmosphere. That's really the main reason I couldn't give it a higher rating. There was just one other table occupied during our visit. I'm not sure why this place isn't more popular! Seriously, come out and support it—Herne Bay deserves it.

Absolutely excellent service that truly outshines most upscale restaurants in Auckland. The pizza is sensational, and we were fortunate to be there for the Tuesday night special—buy one pizza, get one free—an unbeatable deal! A must-visit for all food enthusiasts. Yum!

Chef Rob, sort after chef for his verity and knowledge he brings together on the table in form of Pizza, fresh bread, dips etc. had a wonderful evening with our family friends.

Pizza and pasta was amazing. The server was very very helpful with helping me choose a wine to my liking. My girlfriend and I had a great time and we are definitely coming back here again.
