Bidra med feedbackI was in wynnum and recommended to try here from the wonderful workers in wynnum anchor motel in adam street. well, for me, at this opportunity, I can say that it was worth the stop. it was clean and the staff. was very friendly. if they have luck, they can have a parking space right in front of the front, but there are options along the main road or off road. sitting inside or outside. the coffee was good, and the meal, well my French toast with fresh berries and maple syrup with saw was excellent. I loved it and praised the staff before I left. I will stop here definitiw!
Breakfast Thursday morning alone so it was a morning out, though not cold. I have been looking up shortly after the opening for my birthday breakfast, which I do every year. because of the Kovid rules they had to wait to sit and sanitate the hands. I sat in the main area near the stairs and was asked to order at the counter. I knew what I wanted to eat when I gogled the menu at night. I looked through the menu again when I didn't look at the beverage section. was for a hot chocolate, that's in the regular my way) but saw the cold press drinks. So I went to the theke to place my order 1 x cold press juice orange, cocos water, passionsfruit ananas 1 x crispy chicken waffle now sitting by one itself in a restaurant is very different to be with someone else or a larger group. their hearing and vision seem to be more conscious and vigilant, as they do not have the sound of a conversation with others. there were a few cyclists from the front and two gentleman in the front corner. not busy as it only opened, but younger it was loud. the front servier area was a buzz with activity. it was a bit cool in shorts t shirt) and I looked around to see if I sat near an air conditioning yep I was blowing me. All right, I'm just gonna move. before I moved the two gentleman in the front corner, a coworker commands his table. okay, I thought groups order so because of kovid. then I asked if I could pull myself to the back table to the wall, as I really get cold. they are not sorry that they are only for large groups that they can eat at the door or at the top. there were only two tables that sat 2 people and I really had no pleasure eating at the door. I said, okay cool, I'm gonna eat up, it was **** cool and both air cones were on cooler radiation it felt like. I sat in the back corner, hoping that it might have been out of the way that I had to take all my cutlery, drinks and bottle up. I looked around as I usually do to get the atmosphere of the place. they had a stunning wall clock with these fantastic pictures of what the previous shop many decades ago was that great. it was such a scandal that you could not see them in front. it would be a great chat. oh, and how much quieter it was the front servierzone was as loud as the back of every busy restaurants. a couple of employees were up and down the stairs that commanded and made more out and the smell from the kitchen was amazing. my order came I thought I was hungry in the regular lol) that was enormous that I could get through, so it's all good. I am adventurous and love to try new things. what attracted me was the Kewpie majo I love! I loved any other component in this meal. I was in japan at the time, the aromes were great. the huh was really crispy tasty the lawn Slave was awesome bacon boiled yummo waffel was thick and fluffy the charges of maple syrup mayo omg I love this witness! well, though I loved every piece of it, I could not get the mixed aromen, I am not too sure what it was, but after a few bites I found it better to eat it. the cold pressed drink I really would have seen "the menu on the line first) as it came out of a bottle that I thought it made it fresh at the place was 't to be. I was looking forward to a fresh juice mix. Although it was delicious thought it tasted like a cordial mix I loved every mouthful, though will def try the smoothie next time, how they look / dead amazing when the end came close and I felt like I dumped my shorts when I was full. I couldn't eat it all and I think this was the third time that I have ever left something on my plate formally decades of eating! So for all those who took the time to read everything thank it was an amazing feed, yes I will try something else again. this is not a critique at the restaurant, but if they are alone, they tend to notice much more of what is in / around the place where they are. I love eating, it was a great joy that I eat all over the world, so this is my review and until the next time
We had a lovely breakfast at Rabbit Hole today and it was absolutely wonderful. The menu was creative and unique, with elements that we haven't seen anywhere else. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended.
I usually order delivery from Rule Breaky, which is always consistent in quality. Today I decided to try something different and I was pleasantly surprised by the Macadamia Nut Chicken. The crispy coating and juicy chicken were delicious, and the chips were cooked perfectly. I had never had a meal this satisfying before. I had been considering giving up on them due to some disappointing meals from other places, but today's experience changed my mind. The salad was fresh and portion sizes were good. Overall, the meal was delicious. I would highly recommend this café for its well-made and consistent food.
Rabbit Hole Cafe Bar was recommended. It presents well, with a clean and contemporary ambience, the staff in matching livery, and modern and matching furnishings. It tended more towards the feeling of a deliberately understated restaurant than preconceptions of a venue with 'cafe ' in...the name. There’s table seating under an awning on the footpath and air conditioned dining areas inside. The relatively minimalist decor accentuates the acoustics in the main dining area but it’s an initial impression that you’re soon accustomed to. The atmosphere is informal and the staff were responsive, friendly and attentive. Orders were taken as soon as we were seated. It’s a licensed premises. The wine list consists of only a couple of choices but seeing as BYO is welcome, it’s just a matter of going prepared. There was no surcharge for corkage and an ice bucket was provided as soon as our white wine was extracted from our cooler bag. It adds a lot to the appreciation of a meal to be able to enjoy a glass of wine without the insult of having to stump up four or five times the bottle store cost. The food arrived without a noticeable wait, all five diners at our table receiving their meals within a minute of each other. There’s a comprehensive all-day breakfast menu but we ordered off the lunch menu – the crispy chicken burger, vegan burgers, the grilled haloumi burger and the macadamia crumbed chicken. The burgers included beer battered chips – which were unanimously acknowledged as being beautifully crisp and as good as chips can get. The green-coloured burger buns for the vegan burger and the black-coloured burger bun for the crispy chicken were novel, although one of our party found the green bun a bit off-putting. However it was pointed out by the regulars in our party that the colour was also a flavour factor. The crispy chicken burger with onion rings, cheddar, pickles, fresh and crunchy ‘slaw and chilli-garlic mayo was excellent. I couldn’t make out what the chicken was coated in but it added perfect crispness. Two of our diners had different views of the vegan burger filling, one finding it dry, the other describing theirs as quite moist. The haloumi burger and the macadamia crumbed chicken meals were regarded as faultless. There’s a display case of various cakes and sweets but we’d found the main filling enough. The menu items average around $20 a head and are good value for money. You order and pay at the counter. At the time of writing they didn’t take bookings but when five of us arrived for lunch on a Sunday there was plenty of indoor seating. Their web site was 'ultra less-is-more ' but their menu with pricing can be found on their Facebook page. The availability of seating at lunchtime on a Sunday may be due to Rabbit Hole Cafe Bar being away from any pedestrian tourist area. It doesn 't offer the seaside aspect of the restaurants on the Esplanade a short drive away, but the offset is…very easy-to-find parking – right out front or in either of the side streets bounding the block only a minutes walk away. Rabbit Hole Cafe Bar is doing everything right and definitely worth a visit. We’re told local patronage is multiplying quickly.
