Longhorn Steakhouse - Woodstock

Consistently good steaks and good service is why I keep coming back. Never underestimate consistency. I enjoyed the 9oz Flo's Filet which, like everything else, continues to increase in price.

A little over a month ago, my wife and I ate at Longhorn Steakhouse in Woodstock GA. After eating there, my wife got sick with fever and diarrhea. In a day or two, she started to feel a little better, however she kept having stomach pain that wouldn’t go away. She ended up going to the emergency room where they diagnosed her with an appendicitis and that she needed surgery. After having her appendix removed, she felt much better. Fast forward to today (a month later), my stomach is now in pain. I went to the doctors yesterday to figure out why. I had an emergency CT scan done and they told me I have an appendicitis! I never heard of a married couple having an appendicitis within months of each other. So after doing some research, I discovered that one of the causes of appendicitis is Ecoli. Both my wife and I believe we got Ecoli from Longhorn Steakhouse which caused an infection in our appendix. I’m not sure why my wife got sick a month earlier than I, however I strongly feel that it came for either the salad or the brussel sprouts we ate at Longhorn. Of course we can’t prove it, however if you Google “illness from Longhorn”, you’ll see they have a history of Ecoli outbreaks over several different years. Not only has this situation caused us physical pain and suffering; it has also hit us hard financially with large medical bills. The need for better food regulations of fast food and chain restaurants are extremely important and necessary. When situations like mine occur, restaurants need to be held accountable for serving bad food to the public.

Consistently great meal. Great steak, excellent grilled shrimp, fluffy baked potatoes, and perfectly tossed Caesar salad.Parking: Parking is never an issue at LongHorn, even when they are busy, which was the case yesterday. We parked on the back side of the restaurant and walked around to the front.As our truck had an 8’ bed, we park in double long spaces most of the time, and are used to taking a few extra steps when walking in to retail establishments!!

Horrible service. Never had bad service at a Longhorns until today it was sad. Pray it was just an off day. Overcooked and way over seasoned.

First time here. Food was good but the server had a MAJOR attitude. She seemed to be very confrontational and kept giving my husband and I weird looks as she approached our table. She was not friendly at all. Never cracked a smile. We still tipped her angry azz well. I wish I could remember her name but I will not be going back just based on her attitude alone. Stay home if you’re in a bad mood, don’t bother coming into work in a public facing role. Stay home and be angry there. The floors were filthy and although we understood that it was about 9pm and very busy at that time, someone could’ve easily taken the time to sweep the floors which would’ve taken roughly 5 mins tops to tidy up where we were seated. We usually go to Chili’s right next door to grab a bite. I guess we will stick to the usual where everyone is friendly and welcoming. Do better Longhorn’s!
