Bidra med feedbackI've played and enjoy the disc golf courses but they both need maintenance. Also the short course has the better baskets of the two.
I had a great day playing a round of golf with a buddy. Great course
Talk about mountain hospitality. We got a flat tire just before we pulled in here and one of the guys gave us a ride in town so we could get a repair kit and finish our adventuring for the weekend. We played whispering pines disc golf and had a good time even if it was a bit uphill at times and they might need a few switchbacks on their pathways.
The Golf Course was in excellent shape. On the day we went golfing there, we found ourselves in the same situation as a month prior. There was no beverage service, the restaurant was not open, no snacks to sell, and no mention of this at booking or upon arrival to play. Here 's the problem, you can 't advertise as a full service course and have the excuses that were given to try explain. The course was not crowded and play was at a good pace. If people who drive to the course from neighboring towns to play there don 't know this stuff in advance, you 'll starve and die of thirst before you finish 18 holes. Last thing, driving the cart on cart path only is ridiculous, water restrictions don 't stop any other courses from doing this. Your bag will be covered in inch thick dust at the end of your round. Just a friendly suggestion, pack some snacks and something to drink. Last thing: another course in the Colorado Springs area tried the same thing Gleneagle Golf Course and they closed down a year after their shenanigans to the paying customers. Is it worth $55-$65 per person for all of that???
Great golf, awesome employees, and even better disc golf! I sure miss living in the area, but stop here every time I’m back in Woodland.
