Shining Mountain Golf Course And Event Center

Very enjoyable and challenging course with beautiful views. My only complaints are 1. It 's a difficult course, from a terrain perspective, and having a cart path only requirement makes it more difficult. 2. It would be great to see the beverage/snack cart person more than once per round.

While we were checking in at the pro shop, my son mentioned that it was my 75th birthday. They comped my green fees! The course was in great shape. Just wish they would allow carts on the fairways, especially for seniors. But, I love having such a great golf course, with exceptional customer service, up Ute Pass!

Loving this place. Course is inordinately well maintained for mountain golf and the staff is awesome. Been away from the game for a few years and this is my new goto. Back nine plays a bit targeted and lots of opportunities to lose balls you're not even allowed to try finding, but if you keep it on the straight and narrow it plays fairly easy

Great golf, awesome employees, and even better disc golf! I sure miss living in the area, but stop here every time I’m back in Woodland.
