My man and I were looking for somewhere to lunch, but didn't want to go for avalon or sea isle. we found surf dog through a Google search . we are here and we were actually welcomed by some super friendly bar guests who have told us to sit somewhere. our server/garden olivia was there within a minute. super friendly, explained that today they buy an appetizer, they get half a price. that was fantastic. the service was even better! olivia had a full bar and a few tables and never missed a beat. we're coming back!

This place has a great local vibe and laid back atmosphere with great service. But I really want to compliment them because I order a burger without cheese because I'm lactose intolerant but the kitchen sent out a burger with cheese. The bartender immediately sent it back before I could even make a point of it and they made a totally new burger/platter. This is the kind of genuine customer service I wish more restaurants had, to do everything they can to make the patron happy. I'm so glad I came here on Saturday night

Stopped by for lunch, good soup and sandwich, menu items looked good. Will stop back and try dinner soon
