Ocean Breeze Fishbar - Wolverhampton

I ordered kabab meat and chips around 5pm and it was the worst I have ever had. The meat seemed to be leftover from lunchtime and lacked freshness. I give it a 2 out of 10 and will never go there again. They need to shut down, what a waste of money.

Horrible manky food left over from day before and re heated and rip off prices so go elsewhere as must be better

I didn't feel like cooking, so I decided to go to Ocean Breeze, which is a short walk from my home. The restaurant was busy and there was a line. When I finally got my order, there was some confusion. I had asked for 2 spring rolls, but it was understood as 2 tinned roe instead. It wasn't until I was asked if I wanted salt and vinegar on my roe that the mistake was realized. I had to wait a bit longer for my spring rolls, which I agreed to. With the noise in the background and the perspex screen at the counter, it was easy to see how my order got mixed up. There was already a delay because there had been a rush on kebabs and the meat wasn't quite ready. The young lady who served me was instructed to give me a refund because of the wait. Initially, I declined the refund, but she insisted. The money went straight into the donation tin on the counter, in front of the staff and customers. The wait was unfortunate but not too bad. The staff at Ocean Breeze are very friendly and efficient. They seem to cook the less popular items on request instead of having them ready and waiting, which can result in a wait for customers. The refund was a nice gesture, showing great customer service. The food was delicious. I don't usually go to chip shops, but I will definitely be returning to Ocean Breeze.

I would normally give this chip shop a five star review but the last couple of times I’ve been the fish are lovely as normally but the chips the last few times I’ve been including today the 2/5/2020 looked and tasted like they had been warmed up over and over again really horrible chips

Lovely fish ,but the chips were manky looked as if they had been left over from lunch time,not very good at all.i would be ok if it was a cheap meal but it isn’t any more,think twice before we use there again.
