Bidra med feedbackHad a great full English breakfast the staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was so much better than expected
Been here before and was always good food and service, presume it's changed hands as our experience today was truly awful. Ordered cheese jacket potato with coleslaw and a full English. The jacket potato was only half cooked, one side was raw, no coleslaw and had to go into the cafe to get salt and pepper and sauces, none were offered. The full English was also well below standard, you could have re-soled your shoe with the bacon, it was rock hard, the sausage was tasteless and the small dish containing the baked beans had been microwaved for too long and it was all dried up. The black pudding and mushrooms again overcooked and dry. The whole vibe seems to have changed, it always used to be busy and nice umbrellas outside, no umbrellas on a very hot day and the tables outside were shabby and need a lock of paint. We were the only customers outside today. Such a shame oh one final point if the owners are reading this, we sat near the window to get some shade from the building and you could see things on the shelves inside, one shelf housed incontinence pads and sanitary towels, really not good kerbside appeal. Goes without saying we won't be going again, such a shame
Positive ambience and charming character is what you'll find in this cafe. It's dog and human friendly has a community heartbeat... I had the coffee cake and it was great! (quality and quantity). Will visit again soon to try out the breakfast. Thank you for your warmth and hospitality.
I have been to this restaurant a few times now and each time I have found new helpful features. The most recent discovery was a visual menu (see attached photo), which is perfect for customers who may not speak English. The food is always made fresh, so there may be a bit of a wait, but it is definitely worth it. The staff is very friendly and community-oriented, often organizing and supporting local activities. This restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite places to visit on the Wirral.
We stopped by for a quick snack and coffee, and were pleasantly surprised. My grandson loved the homemade sausage roll, and our coffee was delicious. The staff was very friendly. The cafe also houses a Polish bakery where we bought some cakes, savories, and bread, including a tasty wholemeal loaf. This place is a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit.
