Bidra med feedbackNot too busy around 7 on Wednesday. The lobster pie was dry- it's usually better... it's $36... but it did the trick. I got the chicken pot pie... it was good. That is $17. After 4 (2 each)glasses of $14 wine... it gets a little pricey. But the staff is AWESOME as always!!
Such a great off the beaten path spot to enjoy Winthrop, food was great.
Dined in the Winthrop Arms restaurant which features Doc's Pot Pies. Addressing the restaurant, the food, generally speaking, is good. However, appetizers are lacking in selection and quality. The service is expeditious and friendly. Prices are very reasonable, including wines. One of the drawbacks is that it is extremely noisy.
Doc's Pot Pies is a great place to get a delicious and hearty meal. The pot pies are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and they are cooked to perfection. The crust is flaky and golden brown, and the filling is flavorful and satisfying. I highly recommend the chicken pot pie, which is my personal favorite. The beef pot pie is also excellent, and the vegetable pot pie is a great option for vegetarians. In addition to pot pies, Doc's also offers a variety of other American comfort foods, such as mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. The portions are generous, and the food is always served hot and fresh. The service at Doc's is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed.Overall, Doc's Pot Pies is a great place to get a delicious and affordable meal. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hearty and satisfying meal.
Comfortable, familiar restaurant with a top notch staff. Food is excellent with nightly specials.
