Lone Star Video Diner - Winters

I had a cheeseburger and fries, and let me tell you, those fries were delicious! They weren't frozen; they were fresh-cut fries, and the burgers were made from scratch. The place has a few games for kids, which adds to the charm. It really has an old-school diner vibe, and overall, I thought it was quite nice!

The food is quite good, and the service is also impressive.

Best cat fish in West Texas! Tartar sauce was home made and the jalapeño one was to die for! Fresh cut fries and fresh coconut tea! Cant wait to go back.

Omg..a Hidden gem worth the drive. All fresh home made from scratch. I can even say this was better than mine and ya know I got mad cooking skills. If your going thru Abilene make that right and come see Douglas and his crew. I promise you won't be disappointed. After you eat take a look around at the furniture and heck even play some old school video games. Kid-friendliness: Had good kids food choices. And video games while they wait for the food

Very good food. We had fried catfish. It's worth the stop.
