Anclas Latin Cafe - Winter Park

We drove 40 minutes from Kissimmee to dinner at Anclas Latin Cafe Restaurant and they did not disappoint. We had the Lobsters filled with shrimp and octopus in their homemade butter garlic sauce, and we had also covered the Yuca (Cassava) Mofongo with shrimp and their homemade butter garlic sauce! These dishes were not only very delicious, but very well presented on the plate when served. It is a very friendly atmosphere and the owners/chefs came to ask at our table how our food and service was! We recommend them!

Looking for something new, we fell in to have a simple meal that turned out to be so much more. Best surprise seafood festival I allowed myself to dive. Have the Lobster filled seafood salad with octopus and sea red shrimp spears with black beans n' rice and roasted fish Mahi plate with frits. The fried fish was a little dry, but had great taste; joke for a big plate made with the sauce that came with the lobster. I never had cream-white sauce good like her. Felt like Royalty when they brought everything out of the kitchen! I looked so beautiful on the plate that I regretted not making a picture to keep in my wallet show as if it were my new family member or something. Really remarkable! Very rich, well seasoned, but balanced and fresh. Service was top notch, host was personal. Your seafood speciality is now my Christmas tradition....at least during the last deliveries. We're coming back!

I went last week and today too. Food is tasteful. Cassava Mofongo and shrimp in garlic sauce was delicious. The Zilantro is excellent. Our server Tamarah was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small, but very nice and clean. I will return to absolute.

Drove looking for somewhere to eat and found this little restaurant and decided to try it. I'm glad we did this because the food and service were great. Will you be back in the Orlando area?

First of all I didn't know they changed management? Barbara was awesome! Nice young girl did the best cafe con Leche I've had in awhile! Friendly service great cuban coffee food I will be back ! No more Starbucks for me!
