Best seasoned Burger in Winnipeg, plus they add chili. The fries are real and taste good

We dined in in their outdoor picnic tables ? we were craving a small diner burger, homemade fries and shake. Did not disappoint. Small menu and no fuss tables made it fast and easy.

What a great burger! I had the VJ special and fries. There were tons of people ahead of me but the wait wasn't too long. They are highly efficient so things moved fast. The burger has a great flavour to it. I should've shared fries with my sister because they give A LOT!

After sub-par experiences at other burger joints in the last couple of days, I came back for a fatboy/VJs special as I knew them to be the real deal. Sure enough, it didn 't disappoint.Like always, the service inside was great, and the ladies inside took the time to joke around and have a good time with their patrons. It can be a busy place, but again, the service is always top.The quality of food is great for the price you pay and the fries are probably the best in the city. The same goes for their shakes. The special is how fatboys should always be made.There 's a reason this is usually my 'go-to ' spot for a fat boy and why I keep coming back. This place is a Winnipeg treasure.Having some sun umbrellas at the tables would make this place even better than it already is.

Good fries and likely cooked in beef tallow not canola oil (canola oil is likely a contributor to an inflammatory process). The only fries we've eaten in Winnipeg for close 40 years and, yes, I'm pear-shaped but loving it!! If you have the chance have a chat with the owners as they're always interesting to chat with if it's not too busy which is most of the time.
