Maxime's Restaurant & Lounge - Winnipeg

Very beautiful and beautiful place to eat and celebrate special occasions. service is amazing and fast. very nice and quiet environment to enjoy an evening meal. the restaurant is very well furnished and clean. will definitely go back. just a little expensive, but eating was delicious.

I was with 3 friends tonight at maxime. I haven't been there for many years. the dinner was delicious and the ambiente was great! we all appreciate our waiter ryan, who has done an excellent service in a friendly, relaxed way and wise and showed great pride in the restaurant and in his work in the evening.

I have visited this restaurant for a long time and enjoyed eating every time. many articles to choose and prices reasonable. atmosphere elegant as they still use tablecloths. service was attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable. a great place to bring visiting companies if they don't want to cook.

We had a nice evening! we decided to go there when we saw that they had a gluten-free menu. the ambiente is beautiful. it really feels like an old world dining experience. service was great. our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. he really made the evening more fun. the meals were very good. suppe or salate to begin and then a complete meal served cake hot. many decisions and something for everyone.

EDIT:So I am updating my review, last one I left three stars as it was a very disappointing meal see below and now I'm putting it up to 4 for the fantastic meal I had today. I ordered the prime rib medium rare which was cooked to perfection, and a Yorkshire pudding which was fantastic. Baked potato veggies were good. We had Oreo cookie cheesecake for dessert and it was scrumptious. My server Eileen was pleasant and so very nice.1st review: Was there a few months ago and had the hot roast beef sandwich and it was a hot mess. Flavorless and tough meat with gooey lumpy gravy. The gravy must have been sitting out and developed a film on it then it was stirred around into the gravy because this is what was lumpy in the gravy. Was very disappointed they had no steak sandwich on their menu, they need to add this. If we go back we'll try something different.
