Dim Sum Kingdom （hǎo Tiān De Jiǔ Lóu）

Good flavors. Sometimes, the service is a little slow, but food is always warm and ready-made. Affordable prices and easy parking. Overall, it is a very good place for easy and affordable Dim Sum in South Winnipeg.

Called in for reservation days ahead but when we arrived it wasn't ready. We were given a small table and I asked for 2 tables to be combined so there's enough space for us and the food but the lady manager declined when it wasn't even busy. there were a lot of empty tables!. When one of the food arrived, the waiter spilled the sauce on one of us and our bag was covered with the sauce. Nothing was offered. The food did not have serving spoons. The washroom is very very dirty. The water pitcher is very dirty as well. First and last time we are eating here.

They have very unprofessional waiter, and that was my worst experience ever. After we ordered, we were just waiting and the waiter brought the plate with food, without even looking or checking and he just threw the place straight to the corner of the table. I was just sitting by that seat and I was shocked at beginning and wondering maybe that was an accident, and turned out every time when he was bringing the food to us, he always threw the plate on the table without looking or telling us what dish is that. That was so disrespectful and I was so disappointed. It wasn’t even the first time of him doing like this. We like to eat dim sum from this restaurant, but since then every time when I thought about that attitude of the waiter, I just don’t want to come anymore.

The chilli chicken was good though not as good as it used to be when it was dim sum garden. Cant say the same for the cumin lamb which was okay at best. The mixed veg with beef was okay as well. Meal could have been better and would have been better if it was not so coldnin there and if maybe the poor lone waitress had some help. Atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Sure has slipped since dim sum garden days.

I cannot recommend this place. I ordered the fried rice and Singapore noodles, and both were extremely bland with no flavor at all.
