Bidra med feedbackCan't make Tom Yim non spicy when they said they can make it. Never had non-vegetarian Futomaki. This is more of a Thai restaurant rather than a Japanese restaurant.
Small cozy place with clean, fresh sushi. I worked there as a student 15+ years back and dine there every chance I got. The kitchen is clean and food will only cook when ordered. It's an established business, so they know how much customer to expect year round with a little extra. The place is small and cozy, but guaranteed to have fresh food. They never over-stock on their ingredients, plus they have a personal supply grocery store that deliver every week, as needed.Since the regulated salt-contents on food from the government, they reduced down the saltiness to what I not preferred, but that can easily fix with more soy-sauce. The owner tries to keep the Japanese-authenticity flavor as much as possible.I especially recommend their Namayasai salad (love the house sauce), yaki udon, bento box, spider rolls, futomaki roll and the sashimi dish. Many parking spaces in the lot. The plaza is a tucked away in a hidden corner, but the place is worth trying.Totally recommend this restaurant for you sushi needs.
One of, if not the best sushi places in Windsor. Everything is so fresh, and they do not skimp on the sashimi pieces.
Great place to come if you’re looking for terrible sushi and dirty looks from the owner.
I went in to place a take out order. I said I wanted and within the same second, I decided against it and asked for something else. The owner immediately kept huffing and puffing over my decision and made me wait so much longer than necessary for the food. Restaurant owner is super frugal with his serving sizes. He was super reluctant to even give me soy sauce and spicy mayo. Unbelievable.
