Bidra med feedbackDespite its small and cozy atmosphere, you can always expect fresh food here. They carefully manage their ingredient stock and rely on a local grocery store for weekly deliveries. Due to government regulations on salt content, the food has a bit less saltiness than I prefer, but it’s easy to add more soy sauce to adjust the flavor. The owner makes a genuine effort to maintain authentic Japanese flavors. I highly recommend the Namayasai salad (I love the house sauce), yaki udon, bento box, spider rolls, futomaki roll, and sashimi. There’s plenty of parking available in the lot. The plaza is a bit tucked away, but it's definitely worth seeking out. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for your sushi cravings!
This is definitely one of the best sushi spots in Windsor, if not the absolute best. Everything is incredibly fresh, and they really don't hold back on the sashimi portions.
I requested a non-spicy Tom Yum, but they were unable to accommodate my request despite saying they could. I've also never encountered non-vegetarian Futomaki before. Overall, this place feels more like a Thai restaurant than a Japanese one.
I went in to place a takeout order and initially expressed interest in one dish, but then quickly changed my mind and requested something else. The owner immediately began to huff and puff in response to my decision and made me wait far longer than necessary for my food. Additionally, he was very stingy with the portion sizes. He was also very reluctant to provide soy sauce and spicy mayo. It was quite frustrating.
**Vegetarian options:** Thai and sushi. **Kid-friendliness:** Absolutely 100%.
