A&W Restaurant - Windsor

We usually stop in to a&w Windsor nova scotia when we visit our family who lives there. we always enjoyed the food. last two visits we got very dry burgers with no more than meat patties and mustard. when i got home to Halifax i became sick with nausea. very disappointed. staff has changed. seems food quality has gone downhill

On our arrival we had a very long wait for service and when we received our order they where very cold about it.Then when the order was incorrect and I returned it to the counter they where irritated with me

I ordered a basic Mama Burger Combo, which I assumed would be a popular item at this chain. I waited for 12 minutes for my order while other drive-through and counter customers were served before me. Eventually, I had to ask the staff at the counter when I could expect my order. I only stopped by because I was in a rush, but I learned my lesson.

Driving thru the area and stopped here for lunch. I ordered my new A&W favorite: the mozza burger no sauce as a lettuce wrap. Fries were hot and the burger fairly hot. Downfall was how gross the men's bathroom was.

In recent years, A&W has made significant improvements to their burgers. They now offer decent burgers and continue to serve excellent root beer at a fair price. However, the counter service leaves something to be desired as they often seem indifferent and forget to include all items in the order. It can be frustrating to have to pull over and go inside to fix mistakes when using the drive-thru for convenience.
