Gaunce's Deli Cafe - Winchester

Very crowded neo-yuppy copy and paste sandwich shop. I got the Philly, will never do that again it is a crime against cuisine. What kind of a sociopath puts plastic kraft singles cheese on a Philly? On top of that they squirted enough mayo in it to drown a horse. No change requests were followed through. The meat was bottom tier sliced sandwich mystery beef. The veggies were soggy microwaved snot. Tables were sticky. Staff was apathetic at best.

Missed ingredients, order was taken correctly.Very stingy, best to raise prices and give decent portions.Very dissatisfied. Nothing like it used to be.Lacking customer service, except for the young lady who took the order. Definitely not inviting. After speaking on the phone to a gentleman regarding the salad, I was informed that I would have to bring it back. Period. Didn’t get an apology, ask what was wrong or any remorse. Just Bring it back.Couldn’t wait to try the place after hearing about it for so many years, will never go back, unless it becomes under new management.Don’t waste your money

Extremely thin sandwiches, missing ingredients on salad, didn’t follow directions, got it wrong. Poor customer service, lack of encouragement return. Was a to go order, called to find out what to do about salad that was made wrong, they could care less. Non caring, lousy customer service, tiny portions. Good taste.

Sandwich was too small for the price. Tasted good though. Bowl of brown beans was only half full. Could have gotten a cup and have the same amount. Beans were flavorless. Soda was out of syrup then out of carbonation. By the time got soda right was done eating. No to go cup ..so waste of money on drink purchased.

Food was great as usual. Inside out hotbrown is a must if you visit.
