Mayflower Seafood - Wilson's Mills

Usually I take photos of the food, but I was too hungry today. My dad took me out for my birthday. He got the whole fried flounder. It took up most of the plate. I took a bite and it was delicious. Crispy on the outside and tender flakey meat on the inside. I had been craving oysters and I got a plate of those with Cole slaw and baked potato. The potato was done but not hard. Butter and sour cream were perfect accompianents. The cole slaw was fresh and not sweet like some are or vinegary. My oysters were tender and hot. They forgot to put hush puppies on my plate and my server brought some out to when notified. Service was great. Wait staff kept getting tables and was able to take care of everyone's needs with a smile. Today I took my dad out for lunch for his birthday. We got the specials. He got the popcorn shrimp with baby flounder and I got popcorn shrimp with oysters. Great meal again. Actually had enough shrimp to take home for another plate. Great sweet tea.

Where can i start. This place is wonderful! From the atmosphere to the music and the food was perfect. Me and my wife Rebecca loved our Mayflower specials it was fabulous. Lastly I stunned to see how well the buss boy Kaleb was able to give wonderful service when our waitress was very busy. He helped us through the menus and gave wonderful help and service with a smile : Every restaurant needs a Kaleb.

We showed up with a birthday group of 13 folks today during a very busy time for them with no reservations, and this incredible staff got us seated somehow and taken care of in short order. The food was really good and the staff even better! Thanks for making my birthday a special one. ?
