Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant's version of French toast consists of a mix of pastries stacked together, which the staff never mentioned to us. As shown in the photo, this is their take on French toast. The eggs were terrible—watery and carelessly thrown into a container, as you can see in the picture. I absolutely cannot recommend dining here; the eggs were flavorless, and the so-called French toast was overly gooey. The chicken was just an overcooked chicken patty that made up the chicken and waffle meal. Two orders of this cost me $45.00, and it was not worth it at all.
The quality of the food was terrible, and the service was just as bad. They charged excessively for small portions of pastries. The chicken sandwich was substituted with chicken wings, and the chicken and waffle brunch was disappointing— the eggs were watery and lacked flavor. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience.
I stopped by this charming neighborhood café on my way out of town to grab some coffee to go. The coffee was fantastic, and the atmosphere is absolutely delightful. While there isn't a lot of seating indoors, it's still available if you need it. However, the outdoor seating on a nice day is unbeatable; it really feels like you're in Paris. They offer a creative menu with unique twists on classic dishes. My only disappointment was the pastry I tried (the cinnamon roll) — although it looked appealing in the display case, I found it to be a bit dry. When I got home, I popped it in the microwave, and that made it much tastier. There were plenty of other tempting options to choose from, and I'm definitely planning to come back and try more.
Been here twice now, both times for brunch. Very impressed with the scrapple, you can taste the rye (so you know it's made right)Most recently had the chicken and waffle. Chicken was good, but the topping was too sweet for me and the waffles wasn't crispy at all looks like a combination of melted butter and maple syrup sat in the wells too long.BIL wife each had the cornbread French toast they loved it, but it seemed more like fried cornbread than French toast. The cornbread was moist, and held the berry topping nicely.Service was attentive, the space was quiet and clean.
Finally got to try Ciro's breakfast. I was a tad disappointed about the food. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros omelette, chicken was a tad hard, flavor was ok. My friend got a bowl of omelette sitting on top of hash brown. Hash brown was good. Then we had the French toast- more like a bread pudding. It was okay. Staff was super nice and friendly!
