Sonic Drive-in - Willow Grove

I absolutely love the food at Sonic! I've been coming here for the past few years, and it never disappoints. The service is quick, and the food is always fresh and hot. You really can't beat the prices, either. Make sure to sign up for the app to get discounts and enjoy half-off slushies and drinks during happy hour. They also offer special deals throughout the week as promotions. My daughter is a big fan of their burgers and tater tots, while I usually opt for a burger or the popcorn chicken. I highly recommend the grape slushie with Nerds—it's my daughter's favorite drink on the menu! Personally, I stick with the classic Coke.

I hadn't been to Sonic in a long time, and now I remember why. The pickle fries looked appealing in the picture but tasted terrible. My hot dog was soggy, and I found a hair in the fries. They mixed up my order, which made me wait even longer for my food. The only thing that's consistently good is the slushes, but even mine had a hole in the cup and leaked all over me. I think it will be at least another 10 years before I return to Sonic and remind myself how much I dislike it.

I regret to say that I have tried to give this restaurant multiple chances, but each time has been disappointing. Whether I’m in the drive-thru or waiting in the parking lot, I always end up waiting forever. Even when it doesn’t seem busy, I often spend 30 minutes in line before I can place my order. When I finally receive my food, it’s typically cold and tastes as if it's been sitting around for months. The prices are outrageous, especially given the quality of the experience. I've hoped with each visit that it would be better, but unfortunately, this place consistently delivers a terrible experience, no matter when I go.

If this was my last meal I think death would give me a do over. I've never been more suicidal in my life after eating those buffalo bites. It's chicken paste in an empanada shell. My gag reflex never hit harder after. I'm questioning my entire existence and what choices led me to this food. How is everything soggy and burnt? Dry soggy chicken tenders? I'm so glad I have a therapy appointment today cause she will be hearing about this. The ice is good.

Tried it for the first time today randomly drove by one and just HAD to pull up got a chili cheese dog meal: so so so so good. Tater tots!!!! The diet Dr Pepper on the menu?!? YUM.
