Hitchin Post - WILLIAMSTON

The restaurant was beautiful with a western thema. and it seemed very clean. the salatable was a cut above the average salatable. we sat in the bar area, which was good, but our waitress was at best sufficient. she was not friendly.. She just seemed to do what she had to do and not anymore. I ordered the bark tips with green paprika and swirl. I asked medium and I didn't steal you, I had difficulty cutting the meat with a steak knife! the bark tips were definitiw not medium! the waitress never asked me how my food was, even though she saw how I saw through my beef tips. the baked kartoffel of my man was cold and when he told her, she said she could take it back and put it in the microwave. no excuse. my man went back and asked a new one. she showed little or no interest in how our meal was and showed us only a few attention when we had something like tee, water, serviettes, etc. when we left the hostess who was initially friendly and attentive, she did not even see in our direction, as she was too busy chatting with some local mozens. the Sunday buffet may be great, but what we didn't have.

Good country food. The collards and cabbage were like my mom cooked. Everything was clean and the presentation for the desserts and salad bar was outstanding.

I had lunch at a casual restaurant with a friend and our waitress provided excellent service, checking on us without being intrusive. While the food was good, the pricing might not encourage regular visits. We discovered this southern buffet-style restaurant after a front desk clerk recommended it during our overnight stay at a nearby hotel. The seafood platter was delicious with generous portions and the service was pleasant, making it a place we would return to if we find ourselves in the area again.

The food was the worst I have eaten in a restaurant. Waitress took forever to bring drinks. Was overcharged for my meal after asking for a child's portion. Still got charged for an adult size meal. Waitress was very rude. I'll never go back.

The service was slow, the food was cold, and the prices were significantly higher than expected.
