Bidra med feedbackI visited Williamsport from nj aside from Williamsport being a picturesque town this restaurant was Amazing Amanda was my waitress and she provided excellent service she also stated this place used to be a bank the decor and size made me feel almost in a classic movie I had mussels which are what led me to this public house from google the mussels were fresh although in a different sauce then ya natural red spice sauce this lemon lime combo was delicious I also had the lobster crab dip which you have to try because your taste buds explode finally I had the shrimp po boy which has thee best sauce to shrimp to perfection pretzel soft bun ratios. For drinks I swear from the white wine to the shameless, amaretto sour the Negroni these drinks were perfectly prepared this place is a Must Try thank me later
Really good food, chili was sweet which was different but a large serving! The scotch egg and tacos were yummy. Good beer selection!
We really enjoyed our meal here. Its slightly upscale, but a comfortable atmosphere. The food was top notch, and the drinks were well prepared. I recommend the Amaretto Sour. We look foward to another date night to return.
Came in last night for some drinks by the bar. Staff was good enough to get us a spot even though we didn’t have a reservation. I’d suggest making one for weekends. Had to wait a while to be served. Ordered Guinness which was nice but felt disappointed in the 20% service fee thrown onto the bill excluding tip. Beer and draught menu are available via QR code but system needs to be improved. No prices on the beers which isn’t good. Didn’t try the food so would like to give it a try but won’t be rushing back.
We visited last night, and the hostess was absolutely terrible and would not even accommodate us. This used to be our favorite restaurant in town, but unfortunately last night we weren't even offered service. I understand it was first Friday, but it was early, and almost every table was unoccupied with reserved signs. They wouldn't even accommodate us with a takeout order, suggesting the kitchen was too overwhelmed. I looked right at her and told her the place was empty, and we simply wanted to get chili and a pretzel which usually don't take much to prepare. She even had told us that some of the reservations weren't for 20 minutes, so this lack of service seems extremely unwarranted. We had my 3 year old son with us, and it was just my husband and I, so the bar wasn't an option. She had an attitude when I called out the poor service, and was absolutely not interested in accommodating us. This experience made me not want to come back. I think sometimes it would be easier to just be accommodating than deal with bad reviews and upset customers that don't want to return to your establishment. Not ok, do better.
