Backyard Barn Winery Microbrewery

This restaurant is a hidden gem! They have an extensive selection of microbrews and wines. The sangria is delightful and adds a fun touch to the experience. The food is excellent, and there's live entertainment to enjoy. They also have plenty of outdoor seating. The staff is wonderful as well. I can't wait to return!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, especially the cheese board and the bacon chicken ranch pizza. The layout of the place is a bit quirky, which can make it hard to find your table, but that’s part of its charm. Be prepared for a wait, as the food takes a little while to arrive, but it’s definitely worth it! The bartender was very accommodating and offered us great advice on drink choices. One suggestion would be to provide bug spray for when the sun goes down. Overall, it was a lovely place, tucked away from the usual spots—especially if you're from Ocala!

We visited Backyard bars, at least a dozen times, last year. It's one of our favorite places to go. Great discovery, in a beautiful rural environment; just minutes from The Villages. I enjoyed their craft brews, especially the rye IPA, although they also make their own wine. The menu is not extensive, but all we have tried was very tasty and quite expensive. We like how to open a tab on your credit card, and each server can help you if necessary. The service is friendly and attentive, and the owner always acknowledges us when he sees us.
