Thalassa - Wien

I have no idea why there aren't more reviews of this terrific restaurant, other than the fact it isn't located in the most touristic or otherwise remarkable parts of Vienna. Close to the Prater park, Thalassa has a beautiful garden that's probably a great asset in summer, but during winter (when we were there) the inside a cozy wine cellar like place was just as good. I had a lamb stew with greek rice, which was full of taste and the meat was very tender, it literally fell off the bone. My friends had the gyros and a kind of mezze platter, both equally great. As a whole, a firm recommendation. Oh, and the prices were ridiculously cheap compared to what you normally get for this kind of quality in Vienna.

Sehr nette Location wo man es sich nicht erwartet. Der Gastgarten ist sehr schön und trotz grosser Gesellschaften nicht so laut. Personal sehr nett. Typische griechische Küche mit einem guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Soweit ich gesehen habe ist das Lokal auch im Innenbereich sehr nett. Somit kann ich es mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.
