FINKH - Wien

We had a dinner with my spouse in Finkh as we rented a room nearby and were to tired to walk a long distance. At first the restaurant does not seem much by the looks. Tables and chairs offer a simple setting. The staff on the other hand immediately made us comfortable. The waitress did not stop smiling and answered all our questions with patience. The menu boosts approximately 10 dishes but I am sure they are all very good based on what we tasted. The plates provide a big portion in a simple way with some minor design boosts. The food was sublime and the service excellent. i can only recommend it to everyone, especially if you are looking for a quiet place for some drinks and good food.

The place is very cozy and the waitress was so nice and hospitable , she explained the menu to us and was always smiling which Is kinda rare in Vienna unfortunately.Food is good so as drinks. The music is awesome and not loud . If you would like a calm place with soft music and authentic Viennese dishes than this is the place you wanna go but the menu is kinda limited with not too many choices.

This is a small bar restaurant just off one of the main shopping streets of Vienna. The service was excellent from just one girl and it seemed 2 guys in the kitchen who took turns at going into the street for a smoke.The menu is simple and I was advised of the 4 dishes that were available that day. A number of local folk were dining with me being the only tourist it would seem.The wines were local and excellent, the wienerschnitzel superb and the Schocokoladengateau sublime. Which with a very reasonable price made this the highlight of a week in Vienna.

I enjoyed very much this places, I wanted to try something typical and this was a good choice, but maybe I was expecting a little more from this restaurant taking into account the good references that is has

If you're there in the summer and can sit outside, it's probably nice, but the interior is a little dingy. Food was average, certainly not worth seeking out. And really enjoyed the friend of the server sitting at the bar (one side of the room), who borrowed scissors from the server and proceeded to clip split ends out of her hair. Just not appetizing.
