Fatburger - Wichita

Location is great, they offer quite a bit more seating than I expected from the size of the building when I arrived in the parking lot. The burgers were hot and fresh. Friendly workers even though they were slammed with customers. The wait was long but they just opened so that is 100% understandable (means their food is good and word is spreading. Most people aren't aware but they will be opening 2 more locations here in Wichita so don't stress. Advice for those coming here,check the menu online and know what you want before arriving, this allows the line to move faster. Also expect a wait after ordering. The food is cooked when ordered, not before. I've attached some pictures from my visit. I'm excited to seethe XXXL Burger challenge board contests when they start. I highly recommend them. I'll try an Oreo shake on my next visit.

The cheeseburger and fries were good. I had the king burger with fat fries. The Maui banana milkshake was awesome! The onion rings were not breaded that much. I've had better onion rings at other restaurants around town. The buffalo wings with BBQ sauce was very good. They give you a little bit of carrots and celery and blue cheese with the buffalo wing order. The line to order was long but I expected that because it just opened up. There is no drive thru. Don't expect thisto be fast food. They make everything fresh. We spent $60.00 for two people but we bought enough for two meals per person because we wanted to try almost everything they offered besides the chicken sandwich and chili cheese fries and chilicheese dogs.

TL:DR Mediocre food, high prices, slow service. Might improve in the next few months, might not. Maybe go to Texas Roadhouse. I'll start by assuming they must have a staffing shortage because only one register was open with a pretty good line... might have been a tactical choice to help keep the kitchen from being too backed up. Took 45 minutes from the time we walked in to having food at the table, not as bad as some reviews I read, still not good. With a recurring themeof 45, our bill was $45 for two burger meals (came with fried and a drink) and a chocolate shake. That did include a 15% tip, still expensive. The big disappointment was the food. The fries were cold by the time they made it to us and I'vehad better quality control at basically every fast food joint. Both burgers were not stacked well and basically falling out the side. On top of that, both were under seasoned. They could have done a lot more to add some flavor to the pattyand actually put some sauce on there.

For price to me it seemed normal 2 meals with a drink was 30 bucks.... but the food was good and juicy. It was flavorful not so greasy. I still want to try their shakes and wings but other than that ill be back for sure a few times honestly.

The burger was great! The young girl that took my order was horrible. Had to have a talk with management.
