Both of our dinners were really good. The service was excellent. I don’t come through Kansas very often, but I would definitely eat here again.

A real pleasant surprise for a hotel restaurant. Good food, good service, normal prices and I didn't have to go back out after a day of travel

Excellent service. Crowded, but not loud. Went for a steak, but since you can't just find red snapper ANYWHERE but a fish house, I jumped. Good choice. My two companions went for hamburgers *sigh* but they were cooked to order, and they loved them.The presentation was fantastic, and the three shrimp on top was unexpected and a nice touch. Decent wine menu.It is worth mentioning that a high school soccer team and women's college (Houston)? team were there and never heard a peep out of them. Thanks guys. And gals.The guys had a poker game going on off the side of the main lobby, and I actually thought about asking to get in on it. But hey, let them have their fun. They were that polite, never loud, and I ate my dinner around the corner from them and never knew they were there.Kudos to the Doubletree sales team for booking people with manners.Since we normally stay with relatives, this was an unexpected pleasure. Can't think of a reason to stay anywhere else when we can't mooch off family.I know this is a review about the restaurant and not the hotel, but you really can't do one without the other, especially if you're a guest. Pleased on both.
