Cafe Bel Ami - Wichita East

I have been here three times over the course of 10 years and not many restaurants have left much an impression compared to Cafe Bel Ami. The food has always been amazing, the texture and flavors are well balanced. I am happy I got to try this place once more before they hopefully relocate. The best for me was the scalloped bouchee and gateau.

Chicken and portobello mushroom dish was very good. The custard with berry compote is my favorite!

Absolutely can't wait to go again!! The food was amazing, the staff was excellent, and we didn't feel like we had to talk over any background noise to converse with each other.

We have enjoyed Cafe Bel Ami for over 30 years. It is our favorite place to dine in Wichita. Not only is the food wonderful, but the dining room is quiet and romantic. It is aging, but we can call that shabby chic . On our most recent visit, a newer server did not possess the same graciousness that most of the others have had, and displayed her frustration, which I reflect in the service rating. We had the impression that she did not think she should be assigned our table and initially let it show. The remaining service was fine. I hope the new chosen location is centrally located as well.
