La Carreta Del Rorro - Why

I used to love coming here and have been coming to this place for years, but I definitely won’t be anymore. However today my Caucasian girlfriend picked up some food and the woman at the front felt the need to be racist towards my girlfriend by calling her a Gringa, which is a racist word for a Caucasian female. As a Hispanic I’m disgusted that our people would treat a customer like that. My girlfriend couldn’t pronounce the meat so you guys decide to ridicule her, and on top of that have her pay 12 dollars for two tacos. This is a terrible representation of our community. Do better. People like you give Mexicans a bad name.

This place sucks! Treated my daughter in law like **** and overcharged her $12 for two tacos. On top of that, because she is white, they were very rude to her and called her stupid gringa. Totally unacceptable. I will definitely tell all my latino friends to boycott this place and make sure they are not taking advantage of the customers ever again. I will report this to the Better Business Bureau as well. We, as Latinos, should be humble and respectful to others and this place has gone way overboard to other races.

I do like la carreta as it's near the house and great for a quick dash out for something to eat at home. There's Sonora dogs are nice and plump and they're nachos are filled with condiments. Great place to stop in. However, their prices are creeping up along with everything else. I just hope they don't get their prices too high and kick me out of being able to go there.

Asked for 16 tacos only got 12 and of course was charged for 16 Foods great I should've checked when I was there. Happy they now serve tacos but damn. Double check your order.

We are at this restaurant once before and it was rather good. We decided to come back this time and the food was absolutely awful. The owner and his worker were very rude. My son ordered a quesadilla and a bug was cooked into the tortilla. The owner proceeded to laugh at him and remade the quesadilla but was undercooked due to him rushing so they could leave for the night. Paid almost $40 for 4 Sonoran dogs and a small quesadilla that turned out to be awful. Do not recommend this place. Better off going anywhere else.
