Bazil's In Catal - Why

I have loved Basil’s for about 40 years starting on Speedway. This past weekend was back in Tucson and having Chicken Francise was on my bucket list. Loved the same atmosphere but. The chicken was so disappointing that I do not want to go there again. It had a taste of old chicken and had a 1/2 dollar size of grizzle and fat It ruined the whole experience. I guess they have a new chef and cooks who don’t care about the quality of the meat they serve. Just not up to the standards I was used to for many years.

The Veal was excellent, a proper 4 course Italian Restaurant. It's an experience very nice.

Old world Italian charm and modern bar with sports on the TV. Charming booths and lighting reflect in the mirrors and glass. Antipasto pasta Fazio soup with entee warm bread with real butter. Potions big enough to share or take home. I love their homemade marinara We often order it from Bazils Togo when fixing meals at home. You can ask the hostess if you want to order pizza and sit in the bar.

The pizza is amazing. owner is amazing. def a must gooo!?!

Good pizza, especially if you like anchovies. Price reasonable. Generous with portions
