La Pizzoleria - Whittlesea

I often drove by this restaurant and had always been curious about it, especially since I can be quite particular about food, having been raised on my mother's Italian cooking. The mention of "woodfired pizza" drew me in, and I was not disappointed. The pizza was authentic, with a perfect crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. The calamari was fantastic—tender and delicious—and the eggplant chips were incredible. A week later, I returned with my in-laws, and they enjoyed it just as much. The staff were very friendly, too. It's so nice to have found an authentic pizzeria so close to home in this area. I will definitely be coming back again and again!

The food was truly outstanding! As a picky eater, I absolutely loved my spaghetti carbonara. We also tried the coteletta, which was beautifully breaded and perfectly cooked. The fresh seasonal vegetables were indeed fresh and tasted like they had been sautéed in butter – simply divine! The pizza was cooked to perfection, with a sauce that wasn’t too acidic – just right! It was one of the best pizzas I've had in years! We will definitely be returning. Great job!

Surely we'll be back. Had a serve of Arancini Siciliani, two pizzas and dessert. Good service, great food, even if I'd have done a little expedient, but nothing too tragic. Quality/price I really recommend it.

Absolutely delicious food. And really good service. The atmosphere was amazing as well. I would recommend going there and getting their famous pizza. I would definitely go there again.
